The
Share Children's Memorial
SHARE
is a support group for parents and families that have lost children
of any age. SHARE is sponsored by Blessing
Hospital.
The Children's Memorial is a tribute to the
children we have loved and lost. It was dedicated on April 19, 1998.
The memorial is a place of solace, remembrance and comfort, especially
for parents, grandparents and others without a gravestone to mark
the life of a child they miss.
We invite you to come to see the memorial
and remember "The Children", to whom this memorial is dedicated.
It is dedicated to those who have died and all those who will follow
this difficult journey in the times to come.
In celebration of our children who are now
in the loving arms of God, a balloon release is held each spring on
the first Sunday after Easter at the memorial. Balloons are provided
for your special angel. The unseen currents, which will carry the
balloons, are the memories of the children that carry love and remembrance
into the world.
Blessing Hospital sponsors SHARE and this
children's memorial project. It was funded entirely by donations.
Greenmount Cemetery has donated the land and the permanent care to
the grounds and the plantings.
